We Enter Phase 2 of Culture Shock

Culture Shock Phase 2: Resentment and Criticism of the Host Culture.

Not only are we getting nowhere with the cantonal bureaucrats regarding homeschooling, but there are even public parks where soccer is not allowed. Imagine, the national religion of Italy, and there are some places where you can't even play it!

Not only that, but our three-year-old Jasper has started smoking...

He's a European, isn't he supposed to smoke? Won't he put away two packs a day, in addition to a bottle of wine and a 2 rare steaks, and then outlive me by 20 years?

I appreciated, and was shocked by, your call to me while I was at the football game. Please do call again when I have fewer than 85,000 people around me who are in the midst of an ecstatic religious experience.

I check this site daily and we miss you terribly.

Fight the power. Tommy Viola.
